One of my favorite things about summer is just hanging out together as a family. This DIY Checkboard is a fun little game to have on hand for those fun family times. Sitting on the porch playing a few rounds of checkers on a warm summer evening is a blast! We’ve been having such a blast playing checkers, enjoying the summer days and nights, visiting and creating memories. I created this DIY Checkboard because I wanted something personal, durable, and pretty to look at just sitting out. It came out just as I had hoped!
This checkerboard was so easy and I love the added detail of chalkboard paint for extra fun in scoring…or just doodling. 🙂
