Looking for a delicious way to use any extra pie crust? These are some treats that my Mom always made us with her leftover pie crust. They are delicious and make a fun little snack.
To make these fun little Crustos here is what you’ll need:
- leftover pie crust
- cinnamon
- sugar
- knife
- rolling pin
First off roll out your pie crust like you are going to make a pie. Using your knife, slice the dough into strips.
Gently place the strips on greased cookie sheet and sprinkle generously with cinnamon and sugar. (If your dough seems dry you can brush them lightly with melted butter before you sprinkle on cinnamon and sugar). Bake them at 350 degrees for 5-8 minutes or until crustos look cooked through.
Remove from cookie sheet and place on cooling rack. When they are cooled you can enjoy! They can be messy but are oh so delicious!
You can find my favorite pie crust here along with the recipe for my favorite pecan pie.

My Mom used to make these too. I made them for my son recently and I caught him sneaking extras!
