DIY Houndstooth Tray

I am so excited to share this fun project with you today. As a stay at home mom, I usually have a limited amount of time to craft and create. This is one of those perfect crafts to complete in a time crunch and this was completed in under 3o minutes. I have a lovely piece of custom diy decor that you are going to love. I’ll show you how to transform a simple wooden tray into a modern DIY Houndstooth Tray using some beautiful self adhesive vinyl. I’ve also got dozens of vinyl projects linked up at the bottom of the post to help give you more ideas on fun projects.

Supplies:

• tray
• paint if necessary
• scissors
• measuring tape
• Adhesive Houndstooth Vinyl by Expressions Vinyl- found here

First off you’ll start by painting your tray.  When the tray is dry, you’ll measure out the inside of your tray to know the sizing for the vinyl. Cut your vinyl to size and peel off adhesive backing. 

Apply the adhesive vinyl to the tray.

And that’s it! A gorgeous DIY Tray.
