Calling all chocolate lovers! Today I’ve got a recipe just for you. We recently celebrated my husbands birthday and one of our favorite traditions is “birthday” pancakes. It’s become a fun family tradition to start off the day with a yummy hot breakfast complete with candles. This year we decided to switch things up since the kids and I wanted to do something special. We changed up our favorite pancake recipe by adding warm TruMoo Chocolate milk. With the addition of the chocolate we knew we had to make an easy complimentary raspberry sauce. Not only did these Chocolate Raspberry Pancakes turn out delicious but they are also simple to make. To start, you’ll gather all of your ingredients. Next you’ll mix up your dry ingredients in one bowl. In a separate bowl, add the vinegar to your TruMoo Chocolate milk then add the egg to the milk mixture. Melt the butter separately in a small dish in the microwave. Pour the melted butter into the dry ingredients. Then pour the TruMoo Chocolate mixture in. Mix well so there aren’t any lumps. Now you are ready to make some pancakes on the griddle. Its also time to mix up your simple rasberry sauce. Throw the raspberries, sugar, pinch of salt, and lemon juice in a saucepan and cook on low heat until the berries release their juices and break down. Pour over pancakes and finish with a little whipped cream. These are our new favorite pancakes for sure. I love that TruMoo’s nutritious and delicious chocolaty taste pairs perfectly with this warm recipe. TruMoo comes fresh from your local dairy and not only is it great in desserts, but have you ever tried TruMoo hot? It makes the most simple yet delicious hot chocolate. So rich and creamy you have to give it a try. You will never look back! Delicious and nutritious just how we like it. 🙂 Card
