As we are moving into the fall season, I love adding more natural elements to my home decor. I created this DIY Succulent Centerpiece in under 20 minutes and it makes a lovely addition to my home as we transition to fall.
Supplies:
- Design it:® Simple Style® Succulent Pick
- Wood Box
- Paints and brush
- Design it:® Silks & Naturals Desert Foam®
- Rocks
To start you’ll paint your wood box. I decided to go with a grey-wash on the wood which I achieved by mixing white and black paint. Add a little water and brush it over the box. Let it dry.
Next you’ll cut your foam to fit inside the box.
Now you can start adding in your succulent picks to the foam.
I decided to use some rocks from the garden to hide the foam peeking out under the succulents.
I adore how it turned out! Sometimes my favorite projects turn out to be the most simple ones. 🙂

Now that is my kind of planting. I love real succulents. I even got a few this summer. Sadly they are all almost dead…I am amazed at how real these look. Great project!
