Halloween will soon be here, and in preparation for those school parties and fun trick or treating I’ve put together this fun DIY Halloween Bat Treat. Now that I have some of my craft studio unpacked, I’ve been able to take a break from all the unboxing and enjoy a little craft therapy. These little bat cuties are so fun to put together and the kids will go crazy for them!
Here are the supplies you’ll need:
- glitter cardstock
- glue
- googly eyes
- food safe baggie
- Silhouette
- bat treat bag design #68483 from design store
- stapler
To start, you’ll cut out the bat design using the glitter cardstock and your silhouette. If you don’t have a silhouette you can freehand a similar style.
Now you’ll glue two wrong sides of the glitter cardstock together. (If you are using a double sided cardstock you can skip this step, but the glitter cardstock is only one sided.) You’ll also use small food safe bags to bag your favorite candy.
Glue on googly eyes to the bat and staple on the bag of candy and thats it!
A super adorable “Spooktacular” treat for Halloween.
