First off, I have an exciting suprise coming Sunday! Let’s just say that I am collaborating with some fabulous ladies and it’s going to be fun so be sure to check back. π
Well, we finally finished our Attic Room Remodel! I am so excited for this new space. This room will serve as an office, “family room” area, and guest room on occasion. I love how it turned out and now comes the process of decorating. π
I am trying to find the perfect L-shaped desk. I added a cabinet over where the desk will sit for extra storage. We framed in a closet that is currently being used for toy storage, but when we sell our home it will be perfect if the new owners choose to use the space as a bedroom. (I think this would make the cutest kids room) One thing about this room is we had to add in a separate ac/heating unit. It was a bit costly and it mounts on the wall, but it was the most effective way to regulate the temperature of the space since it is above the garage. I am taking my sweet time finding the perfect furniture and decor for this space. I especially want to make sure I find the perfect and most functional desk. I am trying to decide between a custom cabinetry desk or ballad designs. I can’t make up my mind, so for right now I just sit on the the extra carpet roll we will be turning into rugs. π Here are some “befores”:
Making Progress…
And now the afters!
I’ll keep you updated when I decorate. I plan to make some roman shades for the windows which I think will be perfect.

The place looks amazing now! You guys did a great job with the remodeling! I can’t believe that it’s the same place, it looks as if a professional has done the job. I’m sure you’ll find some pretty nice decorating ideas for it. The L desk is a very good idea for now, it will perfectly fit in that tight space in front of one of the windows.
