It’s our last week of school and the summer fever has already hit! Okay, so it hit like a month ago…but we are gearing up for a full and fun summer. To me it always seemed like May should be a time when things slow down but between school programs, field days, recital, gradutations, etc, this month has just flown by! I took a week off from everything because I got sick and now I am playing catch up! During my down time I started working on a few 4th of July/patriotic projects. Can I just say I LOVE the 4th of July. One of my favorite holidays for sure. The family time, games, parades, rodeos, fireworks, and we cannot forget the delicious food!
As we are gearing up for summer, here are some Fresh Summer Recipes from last weeks link party that caught my eye and I just had to share these good eats! These refreshing foods are calling my name and they would be excellent recipes to use some of those foods grown in your gardens.
Yummy Flavored Water from Uncommon Designs
Fruit Salad by Perfection Pending
Strawberry Cream Pie by Night Owl Corner
Fresh Pico De Gallo from The Casual Craftlete
Strawberry Cucumber Salad from Musings of a Northern Girl
Strawberry Mango Salsa by Tastes Better from Scratch on Over the Big Moon
Zuccini Pasta at Jenn’s Random Scraps
Don’t these just look fabulous? Today I am headed over to the school for the talent show, my son is playing the piano and I just love listening to him. Hope you have a great day!
