It doesn’t seem that long ago when we found out were were having a baby girl. I was so excited to buy all things pink and girly. I looked around and found this awesome online shop to affordably buy all my headband accessories so that I could have a cute bow or flower to coordinate with every outfit. Today I am excited to collaborate with the Sunshine Supply Shoppe to share my latest creation made to match this adorable vintage style dress for my daughter. Over the past almost 2 years I’ve had a blast making the cutest accessories for our little girl!
To create this headband I started with a Sydney Kit in a cream color and used a few extras from the shoppe including extra flowers, ribbon, felt circles, and rhinestone embellishments. You’ll use hot glue to secure.
First off you’ll want to measure and trim the stretch ribbon/lace for the appropriate headband size. You can use the guide below for sizing help.
Place the wrong sides of the ribbon together and sew with needle and thread to secure into a round. Now I’ll use these precut felt circles (one for top, and one for bottom) to attach the accessories.
Use the hot glue to secure the feather first.
Now add in some flowers.
Layer them on and secure with hot glue.
Finish off with rhinestones.
Now you’ll sandwich the ribbon between the top and bottom circle.
That’s it, super simple to put together and oh so gorgeous!
These would make excellent newborn photo props too. Sunshine Supply Shoppe carries all kinds of accessories, feathers, rhinestone, flowers, ribbons, necklace and beading kits, appliques and more.
