Thank you to FloraCraft® for sponsoring this fun project today!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! I am finishing up some touches to my Christmas decor and I can’t wait to show you some of the fun ways we are decorating our new home this year. I feel like a bad blogger because *gasp* I use the same holiday decor more than once. I know, don’t tell anyone! While my style and taste evolves, I’m not sure my wallet could handle the upkeep. 🙂 We’ve had our white gold Christmas tree decor going on for 8 years now. (I’m thinking we may need to switch things up next year.) My secret to keeping things new and fresh while reusing old decor is to add a few new ornaments each year. Not only does this keep things budget friendly, but it gives you that fresh look without redoing everything. So today I’m sharing our latest addition, these Jumbo Reindeer Ornaments.
Supplies:
- FloraCraft® Foam Reindeer
- Modge Podge or white wood glue
- Glitter
- Champagne Gold Paint
- brushes
Can I just say I love these holiday foam shapes by FloraCraft®? There are several different shapes and you can find them at Michaels. These are so cute and perfect for crafting during this busy time of year! Just add some paint and glitter and you’ve got a beautiful custom ornament.
To start, I painted my reindeer with my favorite champagne gold paint by decoart.
After the paint dried, I applied some white wood glue to the saddle and harness. While the glue was still wet I shook on some glitter to add a little bling. Be sure to shake off excess glitter.
Let the glitter set and you are ready to hang your new ornament. I just placed mine in my tree branches cause it was nice and secure but you could easily add a wire ornament hanger to the back.
Stay tuned for more holiday decor, you’ll be seeing sneak peeks all week!

The link on the DIY Rustic Trees is faulty. It first links to the site then immediately pops over to a game app site. The link on the right side goes directly to the game app site.

Sorry, its working okay for me. I am not sure what going on. I’ll look into it, it might be an ad popup? They usually have x’s at the top of the ad to close but I’ve been talking with my ad network about removing invasive ads! Sorry about that.
